Abstract
The EPR technique has been employed for the comparison of profiles acc ording to the Mn(II) content in rocks and V(IV) in oils. The synclinal form of the Mn(II) distribution corresponds to the gravitational diff erentiation of oil which can be characterized by the change of vanadiu m content along the deposit depoths.
