Abstract
Herpes zoster has been associated rarely with somatic and visceral mot or complications, including segmental motor paralysis, neurogenic blad der dysfunction and, unusually, colonic pseudo-obstruction, We report a patient who developed acute pseudo-obstruction of the colon which fo llowed the appearance of dermatomal herpes zoster.
