SYNTHESIS AND BIOLOGICAL-ACTIVITIES OF SOME NEW HETEROCYCLIC-COMPOUNDS BEARING 2-PHENYL-6-IODO-QUINAZOLINYL-4-OXY MOIETY .2.

Some new heterocyclic systems bearing 2-phenyl-6-iodoquinazolinyl-4-ox y moiety have been prepared from reactions of (2-phenyl-6-iodoquinazol inyl-4-oxy) acetic acid hydrazide (1) with some carbonyl compounds fol lowed by cyclization reactions. All these compounds have been characte rized on the basis of spectral studies and analytical data. Some of th e new heterocyclic systems have been tested for their biological activ ities.
