The lead isotope compositions of the Saint-Salvy Zn(Ge) deposit (Pb-20
6/Pb-204 = 18.43 to 18.48) are very different from those of the syngen
etic Zn(Pb) mineralization hosted by the Cambrian country rocks (Pb-20
6/Pb-204 = 17.76 to 17.94). These results preclude a Cambrian minerali
zation as the source, and favour a genetic tie between the Saint-Salvy
lode and the Sidobre granite.
