We have studied the effect of anion disordering by thermal quenching i
n a non-centrosymmetric anion salt, (TMTSF)(2)ClO4, under magnetic fie
lds. In the zero-field spin-density wave phase obtained by high therma
l quenching, evidence for the existence of two different phases was fo
und. We also obtain the exponential dependence of the spin-density wav
e temperature, T-SDW on the cooling rate Q as well as the dependence o
f T-SDW on the magnetic field.
