Abstract
Six unusual tumours of the skull and skull base are illustrated in thi s pictorial essay; for three of the tumours, both magnetic resonance i maging and computed tomography were performed preoperatively. These tw o imaging modalities can provide complementary information in the preo perative evaluation of unusual tumours of the skull and skull base.
