The structure of diaquabis(tetrahydrofuran)lithium tetraphenylborate,
[Li(C4H8O)(2)(H2O)(2)](C24H20B), has been determined at 200 K. The Li cation is coordinated by two water and two tetrahydrofuran molecules,
whereas the tetraphenylborate anion does not show any contact. A crys
tallographic mirror plane bisects the lithium complex and the tetraphe
nylborate anion.
