Abstract
A new polyphenol, 1,3-di-O-galloylquinic acid, and the known quinic ac id gallates, 3-O-, 4-O-, 5-O-, 3,4-di-O-, 4,5-di-O-, 3,5-di-O-, 3,4,5- tri-O- and 1,3,4,5-tetra-O-galloylquinic acids were isolated from the galls of Guiera senegalensis.
