M. Ionitamanzatu et al., THE INFLUENCE OF MAGNETIC FIELD-TREATED A QUEOUS-SOLUTIONS UPON THE CITRIC-ACID BIOSYNTHESIS, Revista de chimie, 47(3), 1996, pp. 254-259
The efficiency of the citric acid biosynthesis - by Aspergillus niger
- in submerged process, has been clearly improved using the magnetic f
ield treated water to achieve the fermentation medium. The experimenta
lly found quantitative increments, ranged between 30 and 100%, were as
signed to the magnetic field treated - water property to increase the
efficiency in the initial process phases, possibly by easing the forma
tion of active centres and their placing in positions that optimally i
nfluence the biochemical processes. There were found no alteration of
the biochemical cycle, during the fermentation processes, the G.C. ana
lysis proving predominant citric acid production.
