Abstract
Crosslinked immiscible elastomer blends BR/IR, SBR/IR and SBR/BR were examined Atomic-Force-Microscopy (AFM). The typical features of the ph ase morphology are imaged more reliably by the difference of the frict ion coefficient (AFM lateral mode) than by the difference of the heigh t profile (AFM height mode). light optical microscopy as reference met hode shows similar results.
