Abstract
The present paper is a concise material of a literature data in photod ynamic therapy of cancer area using as drugs synthetic porphyrins. The paper treats the optimal porphyrin's structure, the physical properti es, and photophysical and pharmakinetical properties of porphyrins and distinguished the advantages of this treatment method, as well as the achievements in this field.
