Abstract
An original approach to the ''O'' ring seals design is presented The m ethod allows, besides tbe indications and prescriptions specified by t he round-profile gaskets producer, to establish the sealing elements g eometrical dimensions, as well as the stresses induced by assuring the sealing and reliability condition.
