Abstract
A convergent methodology for the synthesis of metallodendrimers is des cribed in which the key step is the reaction of a metal-complex contai ning a coordinated nucleophile with a multifunctional electrophile; us ing this methodology, linear and starburst tetra-, hexa- and nona-ruth enium metallodendrimers are prepared.
