Abstract
The titration of C-13 labelled N-acetyl-D-ala-D-ala with the glycopept ide antibiotics ristocetin A and eremomycin, monitored by C-13 NMR spe ctroscopy, demonstrates that the two distinct binding sites of the ris tocetin A asymmetric dimer have different affinities, whereas those of eremomycin show no detectable difference.
