Abstract
The synthesis and X-ray crystal structures of the linear trinuclear me tal complexes, [M(3)(II)(dpa)(4)Cl-2] (M = Ru or Rh), with a syn-syn b is(2-pyridyl)amido (dpa) ligand, possessing a short M-M-M three-centre d multiple bond [Ru-Ru 2.2537(5) Angstrom; Rh-Rh 2.3990(5) Angstrom] a re described.
