Abstract
An application of a learning model to predict the regions of high soli ds concentration within a hydrocyclone, using Maxey's theorem is propo sed. The results are compared with data available in the literature. T he methodology presented provides a means of predicting the effect of the velocity field of the carrying fluid on the performance of the hyd rocyclones treating dense suspensions.
