Abstract
Exclusive formation of either 2- or 4-trifluoromethyl(1H,5)arylodiazep ines 4/3 war observed in the condensation of ,1,1-trifluoro-3-(isobuto xymethylene)-2-propanones (R=H,COCF3) 2 with o-arylenediamines I under microwave irradiation conditions, Thermal reactions under the same te mperature and time produced no products.
