Abstract
Calix[6]arene reacts with 2 equiv. of PCl3 to form a bidentate diphosp hite ligand L which coordinates to Pd, Pt and Re in a cis fashion and, according to X-ray analysis, with a bite angle of approximately 90 de grees for a palladium complex [PdCl(2)L].
