Abstract
The reactions of [{(Me(3)Si)(2)N}(2)MCl(thf)] (M = V 1a, Ti 2a) and of
[{(C6H11)(2)N}(2)M(mu-Cl)(2)LiL(2)] (M = V 1b, Ti 2b; L = thf, tmeda)
with CH(2)PPh(3) proceeded in toluene and at room temperature to form
the corresponding zwitterionic complexes [(R(2)N)(2)MCl(CH(2)PPh(2))]
(M = V 3a,b, Ti 4a), while the analogous reaction of 2b gave the diam
agnetic [{(C6H11)(2)N}2TiCl(CHPPh(3))] 4b.
