Abstract
Poly(hexene) with very high molecular weight is produced at 250 MPa (2 500 atm) with (C(5)HMe(4))(2)HfCl2-methyl aluminoxane (MAO) as catalys t; the dependence of the polymerization on the reaction pressure (0.1 MPa-1.5 GPa) and the substituent pattern of a zirconocene catalyst is described.
