Dynamic information in Geo information systems has three or more dimen
sions, two or three locational and one temporal. To handle such comple
x structures as dynamic information, method support is needed. The met
hod must be based on a model of the dynamic situation or real world an
d have computer-based tools (CASE tools) at its disposal. Here, the st
eps in the DGIS method and the criteria of the D-CASE tool with its pr
edefined objects are presented.
