Abstract
The utilization of resorbable membranes in the guided tissue regenerat ion technique allows unquestionable advantages for both the dentist an d patient Collagen is an important constitutive element of the human b ody and therefore is biodegradable. This study deals with a new slow-r esorbing collagen membrane that when used in conjunction with hydroxya patite, brings about very interesting results for the treatment of per iodontal and peri-implant defects.
