Abstract
Two-fragment correlation functions have been measured for Ar-40 + Au-1 97 collisions at E/A = 25 MeV. Based on the three-body trajectory calc ulation. a mean emission time of tau similar to 450 fm/c for light fra gments was extracted from tile measured correlation functions. This re sult suggests that the sequential decay occurs at this energy.
