Abstract
This paper presents the cw output characteristics of Nd3+ :KGd(WO4)(2) (KGW) laser crystal with different Nd3+ concentration grown in our la boratory. The laser output at 1.067 mu m of KGW crystal (3 x 3 x 6 mm) was obtained to be 68.9 mW and the slope efficiency reached 28.8% whe n pumped by laser diode of power 305 mW at 807 nm.
