Abstract
Nowadays, spotlight mode SAR technique plays a more and more important role in the application of radar terrain mapping, especially during t he airborne working procedures. In this paper, two algorithms in compu ter aided tomography, that is the Direct Fourier Reconstrucion (DFR) a lgorithm and the Convolution Backprojection (CB) algorithm, and the Ch irp Scaling (CS) algorithm are implemented in the Spotlight SAR imagin g and comparison of those algorithms is made by simulation of a point target on the ground.
