PROGRAMMED-TEMPERATURE RETENTION INDEXES - CALCULATION OF LINEAR PROGRAMMED-TEMPERATURE RETENTION INDEXES OF HALOGENATED BENZENES FROM ISOTHERMAL DATA

A procedure is described and evaluated that allows the calculation of linear programmed temperature retention indices of halogenated benzene s. The retention index values obtained during programmed temperature a nalyses were predicted by starting From three isithermal data. The cal culation method previously used for the prediction of programmed tempe rature retention times was simultaneously applied ta a sample mixture and to reference n-alkanes series. Experimental retention index values , measured in differently programmed conditions, were found to agree w ith the calculated ones.
