Abstract
The full saturation effects of a two-mode ring laser with both additiv e and multiplicative noise are investigated. An analytic expression fo r the steady-state laser intensity distribution function is derived, T he auto and cross correlation of the two-mode intensities are calculat ed for equal pump parameters, Compared with third-order laser theory, noticeable deviations occur between third-order and full saturation la ser theories especially when the laser is operated above threshold or when the cavity decay constant is small.
