Abstract
A combined method of osmium determination is developed based on the se lective concentration of osmium with solutions of alpha-olefins in tol uene and the atomic-absorption analysis of the thiourea back-extract i n an electrothermal atomizer. The method was approved in copper-nickel products with an osmium content of 0.07-0.5 g/ton.
