The hadronic part of the tau's (g - 2), a(H)((tau)), is relatively imp
ortant due to the large mass of the lepton. A purely theoretical calcu
lation of a(H)((tau)), using QCD and the analytic properties of the va
cuum polarization tensor is presented. We obtain a(H)((tau)) congruent
to 3 x 10(-6) as compared to the pure QED contribution a(QED)((tau))
= 1.17319 x 10(-3).
