The decay of Cf-245 produced by the U-238(C-12,5n) reaction has been s
tudied by a radiochemical method. The half-life and the alpha-branchin
g ratio are found to be 46.4+/-0.3 min and 36+/-2.6%, respectively. Th
e relative intensities of five alpha-groups have been also determined.
A partial decay scheme of Cf-245 is proposed on the basis of alpha-sp
ectra, and two-parameter alpha-gamma and gamma-gamma coincidence spect
ra.
