Abstract
In this paper, an improved method based on nonlinear least-squares to estimate the percentage concentration of glycated hemoglobin Levels Hb A1ab, HbA1c, HbF, and other Hb variants is presented, If the existing method is enhanced with the improved method, the use of microcolumn io n-exchange chromatography for estimating glycated hemoglobin levels ev en for patients with elevated fetal hemoglobin (HbF) would provide a m ore realistic estimate.
