Electrical, optical and structural properties of CuInSe2 thin films de
posited on glass substrates are studied for different substrate temper
atures. The substrate temperature is varied in the range 300-773K. Act
ivation energy (E(a)) has been calculated for the films using the Arrh
enius plot and the band gap (E(g)) has been determined from the optica
l transmission spectra. Optical absorption spectra show variation in b
and gap varying from 1.03 to 1.15 eV for E(g1) and 1.23 to 1.44 eV for
E(g2). Films deposited at higher substrate temperatures are polycryst
alline in nature. Mobility values are measured using van der Pauw meth
od.
