SPHERICAL MEANS AND WEIGHTED INEQUALITIES

We prove weighted inequalities for the spherical maximal operator and its dyadic version. For the latter we give a factorization theorem and a full description of the power weights. In the continuous parameter case we prove the result for power weights up to an end-point result.
