Middle Jurassic nonmarine tetrapods are uncommon worldwide and were pr
eviously known from one questionable occurrence in North America. The
holotype of Entradasuchus spinosus is a crocodyliform skeleton from th
e Middle Jurassic (late middle Callovian) Entrada Sandstone of Utah. E
ntradasuchus is distinguished by fused parietals, which are not emargi
nated by the supratemporal fenestrae, and laterally spinose dorsal ost
eoderms.
