N. Fdil et al., TERPENIC OLEFIN EPOXIDATION USING METALS ACETYLACETONATES AS CATALYSTS, Journal of molecular catalysis. A, Chemical, 108(1), 1996, pp. 15-21
Efficient epoxidation of natural terpenic olefins is performed using n
ickel acetylacetonate, oxygen and a branched aldehyde at ambient tempe
rature. Total conversions are achieved with selectivities up to 90% in
to epoxide. Under the same conditions other catalytic systems using tr
ansition metal acetylacetonates (M(n)(acac)(n)) have been used, some o
f which also gave satisfactory results.
