Abstract
Well textured YBa2Cu3O6+x longitudinal bulk samples with and without Y 2BaCuO5 additions are obtained by the partial melting zone procedure. Microstructural properties of the samples are studied and discussed. X -ray diffraction analysis shows a high textured level of the single do main developed in the samples.
