The surface and curvature properties of semi-infinite polarized nuclea
r matter (SPNM) are calculated using an expansion for the Fermi integr
als up to T-2. A density matrix expansion is obtained for a modified f
orm of the Seyler-Blanchard interaction. New parameters that character
ize the surface and curvature properties of SPNM are introduced. The l
evel density parameter is extracted from the low temperature expansion
of the free energy and compared with previous calculations. A reasona
ble agreement is obtained with the parameters calculated before.
