Abstract
The lifetime of the neutron-unstable nucleus B-16 was investigated to search for evidence of delayed neutron emission (neutron radioactivity ). The lifetime was inferred to be less than 191 ps (68% C.L.) based u pon the lack of B-16 fragments observed in the fragmentation of 52 MeV /nucleon C-17 nuclei.
