Abstract
Transfer cross section angular distribution data for the stripping of two protons and one alpha particle are studied for the O-16+Sm-A syste ms (A=144, 148, 150, 152, and 154), at near barrier energies. A semicl assical formalism is used to derive the corresponding transfer form fa ctors. The influence of short distance transfer reactions on the fusio n is discussed.
