Abstract
Finite-size scaling effects in CoO, an antiferromagnetic insulator wit h localized moments, have been observed in CoO/SiO2 multilayers. The N eel temperatures of the CoO layers, as determined-by susceptibility me asurements, shows a finite-size scaling relation with a shift exponent of lambda = 1.6 +/- 0.1.
