Abstract
Ate-dyes based on furfural lignocellulose from sunflower akenes ha le been synthesized by step reactions of nitration-reduction-diazotizatio n and coupling. The compounds obtained have been characterized by FT-I R, H-1-NMR, spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and by their solubility in various organic solvents. Cellulosic films coloured with the newly synthesized dyes ha-re orange and red tint and present good light fast ness.
