REACTION OF METHYLAZIDE WITH CINNAMIC, CR OTONIC AND ACRYLIC OLEFINS - STUDY OF THE OBTAINED COMPOUNDS

Methylazide reacts with the title olefines and gives expected 1,2,3-tr iazolines in equilibrium with corresponding amino diazo compounds. Bec ause this equilibrium, E and Z olefines gives the same result, and the addition do not seem stereospecific. Thermolysis of this mixture give s one or two enamines. Oxidation with KMnO4 leads to triazoles. Reacti on between methylazide and methyl acrylate or methyl vinylketone are m ore complicated because the amino diazo compounds react with starting alkene.
