The growth dynamics of dendritic lead deposits on cylindrical electrod
es is studied under conditions where the discharge is not accompanied
by hydrogen evolution. The experimental results are analyzed on the ba
sis of the model concepts. The discharge of metal ions at the plane ar
eas of the electrode surface free of dendrites is shown to have no pro
nounced effect on the main regularities describing dynamics of the den
dritic deposit growth.
