Dp. Vishnyakov et al., THE STUDY OF BAROELECTRIC PHENOMENA IN THE LI7NBN4 SOLID-ELECTROLYTE, Russian journal of electrochemistry, 32(11), 1996, pp. 1232-1236
Baro-emf values of the (+) N-2, Ni\Li7NbN4\Li7NbN4\Ni, N-2 (-) electr
ochemical cells are measured at pressures of up to 1.25 x 10(9) Pa. He
re, Li-7\NbN4 and Li7NbN4 are the samples of identical composition wh
ich are in equilibrium and treated with hydrostatic pressure, respecti
vely. The maximum values of emf thus obtained are employed to calculat
e molar volumes of Li3N in Li7NbN4; the latter exceeded the same quant
ities evaluated from the crystallographic data. The electroconductivit
y of the samples is measured as a function of the treatment temperatur
e and pressure. These data are utilized to calculate the activation vo
lume and the formation energy of a Frenkel pair in the lithium sublatt
ice of Li7NbN4.
