Abstract
There has been investigated the process of methyl and isobutyl alcohol s conversions into ethers in presence of catalysts (gamma-Al2O3, alpha -Al2O3, aluminosilicate W-600 APM). Optimum results have been obtained for gamma-Al2O3. Experimental results fit the model of chemical react ions, linearly independent, covering reactions of ethers' formation an d dehydratation of isobutanol to isobutene.
