We consider the effects of particle transport in topological defect-me
diated electroweak baryogenesis scenarios. We analyze the cases of bot
h thin and thick defects and demonstrate an enhancement of the origina
l mechanism in both cases due to an increased effective volume in whic
h baryogenesis occurs. This phenomenon is a result of an imperfect can
cellation between the baryons and antibaryons produced on opposite fac
es of the defect.
