Abstract
This article discusses the future of fibromyalgia, including the curre nt slate of the art and potential future pathophysiologic studies. Sug gestions are provided in regard to future therapeutic trials, longitud inal and outcome studies, and the role of the rheumatology community i n this common disorder.
