Abstract
Kinetic Alfven waves in three-component dusty plasmas are investigated . A dispersion relation for a low-frequency Alfven wave in a dusty pla sma is obtained. A damped (or growth) mode of a kinetic Alfven wave ha ving velocity upsilon(A) = B-0/root m(d)n(d0)mu(0) dominated by the du st particle collective dynamics is shown to exist in a dusty plasma. T he damping effect is provided by the dust charge fluctuation dynamics.
