The study consists in the relativ e frequency, the size. the colour of halo when ft is found. the corros ion and the degree of blunt. ft is not possible to determinate wood sp ecies but indications are given by the method precised by the author i n observing them under low-angled light. They indicate natural or anth ropic combustion and the evolution of plants. They take place in palyn ofacies study and help to understand the setting as well as the taphon omy of sediment.
