Abstract
A six-year-old Indian girl presenting with clinical features of chroni c recurrent tonsillitis, had a tonsillectomy. Histopathology revealed a cross-section of an Anisakis worm in the tonsil. This report documen ts a new location in the human host for this rare parasite.
